Our mission is to promote and maintain the financial independence and security of individuals, families and businesses served by Keating Financial Services; by bringing to them a coordinated and comprehensive array of financial products and services that will enable them to identify their financial goals and implement strategies that are consistent with those goals.


Our values define our principles, standards, and qualities to guide us in how we go about our daily activities, and how we will make decisions, and how we will work with our clients. Statement of Philosophy

As investment advisor representatives of United Planners, our team members' philosophy of financial planning is to gather adequate reliable information about a client’s personal financial situation; to determine the client’s goals and objectives, time horizon and risk tolerance; to analyze all of the foregoing information in an objective manner and to develop recommendations for our clients based upon this thorough analysis and in the interest of rendering objective advice. Throughout the personal financial planning engagement, we endeavor to consistently act in the interest of our client. Moreover, we believe that a client should be both informed and proactively involved in his or her personal financial affairs. Accordingly, we believe in holding frequent meetings with our clients to educate them about the financial planning process and their own financial situation.

Better Treatment.

KFS is modeled like a primary care doctors practice. When you are not feeling well or need to go for your annual physical, you go see your primary care doctor. If there is a problem that the Doctor cannot fix, then he will refer you to another professional that can. KFS is modeled the same way. Next to your physical & spiritual health, few things are as important as your financial health. Like your physical health, your financial health is constantly changing (for the better or for worse) due to the substantial number of variables and constraints. KFS is there to do your annual financial check up to monitor how these variable and constraints are affecting your financial health.

Our clients don't want a salesperson for investment products, insurance products, or other investments commodities. They want a specialist who is both objective and professional at handling their kind of account and financial situation. Through their affiliations with United Planners, our team members are able to educate clients about financial planning, create a workable system that is suitable to their goals and risk tolerance, and maintain an overall view of investments, insurance, and tax considerations of their long-term goals. We will coordinate with other professional experts they work with such as their accountant and lawyer. We act as our client's human browser - we try to anticipate our clients' questions and concerns, supply key information, and devise customized financial solutions. Our job is to simplify a complex world and to provide customized solutions for busy clients who don't have the time or the desire to become financial specialists themselves.

Our Employers

We consider our clients to be our employers. Our team members do not have sales quota’s or production requirements and do not have to represent a limited group or one particular product. We are independent investment and insurance brokers, meaning that we can offer our clients products and services from a wide range of financial Institutions and Insurance Companies in order to provide customized plans. Our objectivity and unbiased approach is one of the primary advantages of selecting an independent firm. We want our clients to treat us as though we are their employees – to complete reports and hypothetical illustrations, analyze strategies, evaluate investment portfolio allocations, help set up a family budget, etc. As long as there is an established relationship with one of the Keating Financial Services team members, our clients have access to our programs and expertise at no additional charge. This philosophy is just another aspect that sets us apart.

Each client offers us the opportunity to learn about new situations and work on unique plans. As the relationship with each client develops over time, we are able to enlighten them about other products and value added services which Keating Financial Services has to offer. We understand that a satisfied client may provide a referral at some point in the future, therefore it is in our best interest to remain client focused.
